Construction Heaters, Appliances & Vehicles

The Fuels Training Centre offers a selection of courses designed to train your employees on specific propane-powered appliances such as construction heaters and torches.  In addition to learning how to operate the equipment and understanding propane cylinder storage and use requirements, students will also learn about propane properties and characteristics, site safety and PPE requirements, and the rules and regulations they must comply with.

Construction Heaters and Propane Cylinders at Construction Sites (AV02)

This course has been designed to train construction site workers to safely use propane-fueled construction heaters.  Students will also learn how propane cylinders are to be used and stored at the construction site.  The course can be modified to cover construction heaters up to 400,000 BTHU or heaters of all sizes. 

Torches and Propane Cylinders at Construction Sites (AV03)

This course has been designed to train construction site workers and roofers to safely use propane fueled hand-held torches.  Students will also learn how propane cylinders are to be used and stored at the construction site.
