Bill Egbert

Bill has over 46 years of experience within the propane industry with a focus on training and development.  Bill has extensive experience in developing courseware and systems related to the safe handling of propane and other fuels.  Bill also has extensive experience as a skilled facilitator in such topics as process quality improvement, customer service, and administrative processes and procedures.  Bill has written many articles  for Propane Canada Magazine related to propane regulatory updates and general propane issues.

Scott Blaney

Scott has over 35 years of experience within the propane industry with a focus on managing emergency response operations related to propane and other fuels.  Scott has extensive experience as a skilled facilitator conducting annual training related to handling propane emergencies with his dedicated national teams. 

Our Services

Training Courses – Safe Handling, Storage and Transportation of Propane

The Fuels Training Centre develops training courses and support  materials on a number of topics related to the safe handling, storage  and transportation of propane, fuel oil, natural gas and LNG. Our training courses are made available to our certified Instructors, who are subject matter experts in the courses they deliver.  Our Instructors guide students through the curriculum, utilizing a suite of support  materials, to ensure students can successfully complete both a written  exam and practical Skills Evaluation.  Successful students are issued a Record of Training (ROT) certificate recognized by regulatory authorities across Canada.

Custom Training Programs

The Fuels Training Centre can work with your organization to develop customized training solutions not offered in our regular library of courses.  Whether you need to create training for new processes and  procedures or how to handle specific pieces of equipment, the Fuels Training Centre can quickly develop the curriculum and support materials you need.
